I'm engaged!

As most of you know, I moved to North Dakota because I was pretty seriously dating this wonderful man who goes by the name of Kevin Hinman. I've gone to school with Kevin since second grade, and we were friends all the way up to Senior year. I graduated early, and he went to Japan as a foreign student. We lost contact for about two years, until a friend of mine got ahold of his new number and called him last summer. We've talked pretty much nonstop since then. He even flew home for Thanksgiving, which he originally wasn't going to do, to see me. Things got even better, until he had to leave to go back to North Dakota. He had definitely matured since high school. I flew out for a week and a half around new years to see him. He had been taking the missionary discussions and decided to be baptized. He was baptized January 20th 2008. We've been dating for a year in less then a month. He proposed at night, I'd had a really rough week, and he had been my shoulder to cry on. He took me for a walk, it was pretty much the perfect night, it had rained earlier and so everything was damp and sparkled, but it was warm and the sky had cleared. He talked about how so many things recently just seemed to fall into place, and how life could at times be hard, but with the right person by your side everything changes. He told me how he'd never been able to communicate so well with one person in so many different ways about everything and anything. He told me how much he loves me, and got down on one knee...and now we're engaged. Because of military life, Kevin's family and many of our friends, at our bishop's counsel, we are going to be married September 13th 2008. We will be sealed one year after Kevin's baptism, and when he has recieved the melchizedek priesthood. We hope you will join us in Boise!
