Our new dog!

We had been wanting a dog for quite awhile, and frequently visited the pet stores. We decided we wanted to check the humane society to see if there were any dogs there. I'd looked online awhile back and had seen Fritz, an american eskimo that was all white with perky ears. He was soon snatched up though, so we continued our search. We both had a lot of qualifications the dog needed to meet in order to be the right dog for us. We wanted a good sized medium dog, somewhat independent for when our work schedules overlap, loyal and affectionate, and energetic but mellow (the last one was seemingly impossible) alas we found the dog of our dreams, Fritz, who is four years old. He was returned to the humane society because the man who bought him worked and was never home, and lived in an apartment where the landlord didnt appreciate Fritz's lonely barking. He was eighty five dollars, and current on all his shots We were at the pound for about four hours playing with him and some other dogs. I loved that he looks like a fox, and he is conveniently already potty trained. He'd been through a couple of homes and it was determined by the previous owners that He barks when he's lonely and won't bond with overly frisky cats. So he's perfect for us because Kevin barks when he is lonely and I don't much care for needy cats. I kept calling him Yuki unintentionally, that was the name of our forty eight hour dog that he looks just like. So we changed his name to Yuki, it means snow, and is pronounced Yookie. We love our walks, and exploring new things, and he's not much of a fetcher, but he's well behaved with his leash off.

  1. I wonder if Yuki and Libby would bond? Libby could teach Yuki fetching and dancing around for car rides.
