World Domination

I didn't think much of the game when I first heard mention of it, but risk is exhilarating, thrilling, and pure awesomeness. We'll get to that in a minute. Friday at work Kevin almost chopped the top of his thumb off. While emptying some oil cans or something he cut the tops of but one didnt cut off right and when he picked it up it sliced through his safety glove and sliced his poor thumb, he said it was a minor injury but when I picked him up his thumb was bandaged from tip to palm. It is really deep but mostly just at the top the guys went a little overboard with the first aid. Anyway, we had the missionaries over for dinner again. We had tacos and new york style cheesecake yummmm. While cutting the peppers I decided to be just like Kev and sliced my thumb so we could be twinners. Ugh it was gross and that's the first time I've had an accident with a knife in a loooooooong time. Anyway dinner was good, if I do say so myself, and then we played risk until they had to go home, but the board is left as it until the next time we have them over. I'm dominating australia, and most of asia, and we are all pretty much in our own distinct corners. It's anyone's game. Though I'm pretty sure I'm going to win. This morning I had a primary activity to attend and brought Kevin to help me. It was a PJs activity, everyone came in their PJs, and we had Prayer, Journal, and Scripture stations. I was the journal station and we used yarn to tie the books, and stickers, markers and crayons to decorate. It was a lot of fun, then we helped clean the church building. All in all it was a pretty busy day. We were going to play apples to apples but when we were gone earlier that day, Yuki had decided that he wanted to mark that game as his own...yuck. We cleaned it up but didn't really feel like playing it anymore.5 more days to B-town.

  1. So YUKI wanted all the apples for himself huh? :) The church activity sounded like lots of fun that is until the cleaning part. You and I and Kevin should never be left alone with sharp objects I've decided. We like to slice through fingers, toes, hands and feet. I still have silverware anxiety when emptying the dishwasher and my last knife incident was over a year ago! Good luck conquering the risk world on your next get together.

  3. Australia rocks, lots of resources here, 22 million people, land mass the size of the US. Awesome islands, beaches I diffently would take the continent of Australia
