I found this picture on Google for blogs.smarter.com, and thought it was appropriate.
I know it's SUPER early but I just couldn't help myself from making a list of names. I went through it with Kevin and I'll post the one's we agree on and like. I know I am taking a gamble here, as most everyone will have an opinion and no one may like any of them. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think. I know which one's we're leaning towards and that may change as time goes on! I also looked up the meaning behind the names, and obviously some were not chosen based on that alone but for either family reasons or just because we like the way it sounds. Here are the Boy names:
Aeden- (Ay-den) Gaelic: Fire
Blaine- Gaelic: Yellow
Carter- old English: One who transports goods
Connor-Irish/Gaelic: Hound lover
Elias- (variant of Elijah)
Elijah- Hebrew: The lord is my god
Dante- (Dawn-tay) Italian/Spanish: Lasting, enduring
Gabriel- Hebrew: God’s able bodied one/hero of God
Holden- Old English: Deep valley
Liam-German: Protection
Lucas- Greek: From Lucanus
Marcus- Latin: Dedicated to Mars/God of war
Rhett- (Ret) Latin: Speaker
Ronin- Irish: Little Seal/Japanese: Rogue samurai
Ryker-
Titus - Defender
Weston- Old English: Western town or place
... and here are the Girl names. One or two of the names may already have dibs by someone else, so if that's the case obviously we won't pick that one, but I wasn't sure so I threw it up! (PS still not sick cross some fingers please!)
Cadence-Latin: Rhythm
Charlotte- German: Free man
Eden- Hebrew: Paradise
Elena- (eh-lehn-a)not (a-leen-ah Greek: Sun ray/Shining light
Elisabeth- Hebrew: God’s promise
Farah- Middle English: Good looking
Jaiden- English: Form of Jade/precious stone
Justice- Latin: Righteous, just, fair
Noelle- Old French: Christmas
Vera- (Veer-ra) Russian: Faith/Latin: truth
Had a much more difficult time picking out girl names that we like and agree on.
In other news, Tina has gone indefinitely to visit a friend in Oklahoma and we don't know when she'll be back. Our dishwasher is broken, and you don't really notice what a blessing it is until it's gone. It is a fine piece of machinery that I will not soon again take for granted. Lastly, I am a walking zombie, I'm forgetting things like crazy like how many times I asked Kevin if he had his wallet, and where I put my phone twenty seconds ago, and I am a super sleepy person. Also water is my new best friend except that it makes me run, yes run to the WC every half hour. Still it is just so refreshing! That and popsicles, but it is pretty hot here and we are currently without AC. Hope everyone is happy and healthy!
Congratulations!!!!! I'm so excited for you! Love the names! I love the name Eden, it was on my list of names too!
