We ate tonight at the Melting Pot downtown, wow. ($90) but talk about delish. Neither of us had been there before, but we decided since we had extra money for food for our transitory time, we'd give it a go. We had four course fondue. The first fondue was a cheese fondue, with bread and vegetables and apples. Then a salad with balasmic vinegrette, not fondue and not the best, next the entre: meats and veggies that you cook at the table in the boiling fondue. It was good, but the absolute best part was the chocolate fondue with strawberries, banana, cheescake, marshmallows,and some other things. Heavenly, but then again, I'm a sucker for chocolate. Our favorite place to eat though is Panero Bread (hope I spelled it right) sandwich and soup place, so good. We are getting kinda sick of eating out though, and have some snacks in our mini fridge.
I love that place! although last time we went the raw meat part totally grossed me out! I think I'll just stick to the dessert course from here on out!
