Expect the Unexpected

It has come to my attention that through nagging much is accomplished. JK. A few weeks ago, I may or may not have complained... I mean mentioned to Kevin that he wasn't "dating" me like he used to. To which he replied, "That's because we're not dating, we're married." Well long story short, a few days later this is what I came home to.... (Kristen, that was paragraph number 1)

A Post-it note scavenger hunt! Below are most of the notes he put up for me. He found a book on our shelves while looking for another. The one he found is called 101 Ways To Say I Love You. Inside it was the idea for a scavenger hunt. When I came home from work, n the Front Door was post-it note that said "Put down your stuff and go to the bathroom." Once in the bathroom I found another note on the mirror and followed them from there.(2)


The Post-it notes when from front door, to bathroom mirror, to fridge, to closet door, to couch chushion, to a journal on the bookshelf. I called Kevin over and he explained to me the journal and what was inside. There's no picture of that because it's personal and made me cry (happy tears). It was an "I love you because..." journal, with a note and explanation inside. This was another idea from the book, which I recommend all wives get and leave out to be found by unsuspecting husbands. Well needless to say it was a much appreciated effort. It really doesn't take much, and it makes such a big difference. We did go out to dinner, and have been updating the journal as we feel like it. It's also fun to check and see another note for you, or leave a note of appreciation for something small that you may forget later. (3)
