I was having some trouble loading pictures from our trip, but here they are! I had an amazing birthday today, lots of cards and calls and notes and love. I really am so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life. I am so lucky. It didn't start off so well, it was a rainy Monday and I forgot to do my homework, and got a bad grade on a quiz, but... that's ok. Once midterms are over this week some of that stress will be lifted until finals. Kevin and I are preparing for Tina to come live with us, and we're excited. This weekend we'll do some spring cleaning and make the office, a bedroom. We've been working hard on saving and paying off debts and it's been going great, but it was about time to replace some things, and we even got a microwave! The highlight of my day was when Kouki came over to wish me happy birthday. Kouki is the friend we took to Seattle, he's Japanese and so sweet. When he came over, he was really dressed up and we asked him why. He said because it was Japanese tradition to dress nice when you give someone something. He had gotten me a pen with my name on it from Seattle, a Nintendo DS and a game for it! So generous from him, and it was so unexpected. Tonight Kevin and I watched Tangled, it's so cute. It's been a great day, and I'm ready for bed!
