Seattle
This video was my favorite part of Seattle. It was a gorgeous sunny day, with just a wee little bit of showers in the morning. We walked around the city, shopped at Pike's Place Market and a few other stores. It was just a short weekend trip but well worth the short drive. We stopped in Tacoma to see the AFB and they had a field full of retired planes. Kouki took a ton of pictures there and even I have to admit seeing all the planes was cool. Then we drove to Seattle and checked into the hotel. We played around a little in Lynnwood, about 15 miles N of Seattle (which is where the hotel was), and went swimming in the pool. The boys made friends with some kids that absolutely adored them and I got in some good reading. I feel so energized, enthusiastic and rejuvenated. I am now ready for the month of May! Saturday, like I said, we spent walking around in Seattle. The only dramatic part was when Kevin got steamed when some guy said something at me. It was like watching the hulk. Kevin is usually pretty chill, and not really a jealous or overly protective guy, but he was ready to throw down. Then we got "accosted" by a petite little hippie girl that didn't know when to stop asking/demanding that we donate to her save a child charity. Kevin's too nice to just walk away while someone is talking, and every time he was about to she'd grab his arm, and say "it's an emergency you have to save their lives, you can do it, they need you." I'm all for a good cause, but you can't save everyone, and I'd prefer to be hands on and help in ways other than just throwing out money, especially as a college student. So I had no problem saying no and getting ready to leave, eventually after some intense eye conversing from Kevin I took his arm and pulled him away. haha maybe that was a little drama filled too. We watched a giant game of chess too, and met some friendly people on the street. All in all, a great time. Oh, and Yuki got a hair cut.
