My super duper duplex
Just another little miracle to add to the list. Kevin and I have been looking for a place we could live since my studio apartment will be slightly too small for all our stuff. We were also looking for somewhere closer to base because the town is actually about half an hour away. We were turned away from the housing office, for houses on base, because there was "nothing available. and we would have to be put on a year long waiting list. We even looked at a trailer park that was right near the base... We decided we'd wait until we came back from Boise and make due in the studio until we could figure out a suitable plan. The roads get really bad in the winter and I really wasn't looking forward to Kevin having to make the treacherous drive to base every day. When we went to the housing office again to check Kevin out of the dorms, we were pulled aside and apologized too for the previous behavior, they had been pretty rude, and they told us they had a three bedroom house available. We, as a lower ranking couple, are only eligible for a two bedroom house, however since no one needed the house at the time it was offered to us. It's a duplex on Indiana Street and has an upstairs. We're not sure what we are going to do with three bedrooms, but we very grateful for own new super duper duplex.

Of course one of the rooms should be "mom and dad's room" for when we come to visit. (Will they let you have overnight visitors on base??)
