College

We're just living in Studio 6 motel until Kevin leaves...another reason I'm not fond of our past apt. complex. Kevins date changed for deployment and they wouldn't let us extend so now we're living in a hotel for the next three weeks. woot! Kinda like a vacation... but we're getting cabin fever. Kevin has taken leave this week until next Thursday so we're just chillin and havin fun everyday. We went to the Iron Man2 premiere, and we both liked it. I'm really into this whole super hero thing and I had no idea how complicated and intricate it all is. Like, the avengers and all that. Kevin knows a lot about super heroes and is schooling me, or attempting to. I had no idea there was someone named the Green Lantern. I forgot to mention that Kev also got the book The Love Dare for my Bday and it's a year of devotionals for couples and we've been reading it daily so far. It's sweet and puts things into perspective. I'm really enjoying it.

The big news is that we both got accepted to CWU! Central Washington University is in Ellensburg, WA. I'm totally stoked. We do have to apply for early release from the military but Kevin's pretty confident that we'll get it so I'll just continue to hope until we know otherwise. If we get the early release we'll go to school starting January 5th! WOOT WOOT!! It's going to get a little complicated with the timeline and finding somewhere to live since Kev will get back early October and I don't know anywhere that leases for 2 months, plus that's a lot of moving in and out for me. TMO, the military movers, will move us home at the end of Kev's enlistment... I believe. I'll have to check. Hopefully. Kevin is going to major in Japanese, he'll get an accelerated scholarship for that degree from the ROTC, and I'm thinking I'll major in Psychology. I'm just excited for what the future holds.
